Barcelona hosted the 23rd EuroMedLab Congress from May 19 to 23, the most important European scientific event in Laboratory Medicine.

Organized by the IFCC, the EFLM and the SEQCML, this biannual meeting has shown the latest developments in the research and clinic of the different areas of Laboratory Medicine. With more than 1500 communications and 100 speakers, the congress has been a successful participation. In the topics discussed, we have the epigenetics applied to cancer, the microbiome, big data or quality management in POCT (point-of-care-testing).
